Please read these terms carefully before using ZimHelp Connect platform.

Welcome to ZimHelp Connect. By accessing or using our platform, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1.
Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using ZimHelp Connect, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including employers, domestic workers, and visitors.

2.
Eligibility

To use ZimHelp Connect, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. Employers must be legally authorized to employ domestic workers in Zimbabwe. Workers must have the legal right to work in Zimbabwe.

3.
User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. ZimHelp Connect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4.
Verification and Background Checks

While we strive to verify user information and conduct background checks, ZimHelp Connect does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or validity of any user-provided information. We strongly recommend that employers conduct their own due diligence before hiring any worker, and workers verify employer legitimacy before accepting any position.

5.
Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

  • Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • Comply with all applicable labor laws in Zimbabwe
  • Pay fair wages as agreed upon with workers
  • Provide safe working conditions and treat workers with respect and dignity
  • Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic
  • Secure necessary work permits and documentation where required
6.
Worker Responsibilities

Workers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Complete assigned duties to the best of their abilities
  • Be punctual and reliable for scheduled work
  • Respect employer property and maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate any issues or concerns professionally
  • Not misrepresent their abilities or experience
7.
Fees and Payments

ZimHelp Connect offers both free and paid services. Premium features require subscription fees which are clearly displayed before purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify fees with prior notice. Employers and workers are solely responsible for negotiating and handling salary payments directly.

8.
Communication and Conduct

Users must communicate professionally and respectfully through our platform. Harassment, abusive language, spam, fraudulent activities, or any form of misconduct is strictly prohibited. ZimHelp Connect reserves the right to monitor communications and take action against violations.

9.
Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using ZimHelp Connect, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

10.
Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for each other. Reviews must be honest, factual, and based on actual experiences. False, defamatory, or malicious reviews are prohibited. ZimHelp Connect reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

11.
Intellectual Property

All content on ZimHelp Connect, including logos, designs, text, graphics, software, and code, is the property of ZimHelp Connect and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

12.
Limitation of Liability

ZimHelp Connect is a platform connecting employers and workers. We are not a party to any employment agreements and are not responsible for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from the employment relationship. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZimHelp Connect disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13.
Termination of Account

ZimHelp Connect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activities, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

14.
Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ZimHelp Connect shall be governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting our support team. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe.

15.
Changes to Terms

ZimHelp Connect reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
